Weather and authorizations are playing havoc with our plans.
But we are ready now to catch up, we are flying from Macau to Taipei, overnight and then on to Nagoya.
The timing should put us in Taipei behind the Cyclone #2 and then give a clean shot to Nagoya.
This is the longest leg of the journey and we are stretching the range of the Mustang at 1060 nm
Here is the report on the storm:
Typhoon Chan-hom reached the Chinese coast July 11 in Zhoushan, Zhejiang province, The Weather Channel reported. The Joint Typhoon Warning Center issued an advisory indicating the storm's center was 160 kilometers (100 miles) south-southeast of Shanghai and moving north-northwest at 19 kilometers per hour (12 miles per hour). Chinese authorities evacuated about 1.1. million people from the coast, Xinhua reported. The Typhoon is expected to leave China July 12 and move northeast into the Yellow Sea. It is then forecast to touch land on the Korean Peninsula as a tropical storm.
